A Vedic astrologer in New Delhi — in person, or wherever you are
Dr. Nidhi Sharma has read charts for families across India for over twelve years, from a quiet appointment-only room in East Delhi. Most clients now meet her over video. Both are the same reading — this page explains the difference so you can choose without guessing.
What a sitting in Delhi actually involves
You send your birth details — date, time and place — when you book. Your chart is cast and studied before you arrive, not while you sit there. That is the whole reason sittings are appointment-only: the preparation takes hours, and it cannot be done with someone waiting.
The room is in Surajmal Vihar, East Delhi. There is no waiting area and no queue, because no two appointments overlap. The exact address and directions come on WhatsApp once your sitting is confirmed. Clients travel in from across Delhi NCR — Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Faridabad — though in practice most now choose video and skip the traffic entirely.
Sittings run in Hindi or English, whichever you prefer. Afterwards you receive a written summary and any remedies in plain language, so nothing depends on what you managed to remember in the room.
The methods used, named plainly
The reading works from the classical Parashari system and the Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP) — the two frameworks Dr. Nidhi has practised for over twelve years. In ordinary terms that means three things are examined: your birth chart for the shape of your life, your Vimshottari dasha for which chapter you are currently in, and the transits for what is passing overhead now.
Timing is the part people underestimate. Two people with near-identical charts can be told quite different things, simply because one is halfway through a Saturn period and the other is not. That is why a reading is dated advice, not a permanent verdict.
What you will not be told
You will not be told a period is cursed. You will not be sold a series of escalating pujas. You will not be given a guaranteed outcome, because nobody honest can guarantee one.
If a demanding stretch shows in your chart, it will be named plainly, with its timing and what genuinely helps through it. Fear is not used as a technique in this practice — and if a reading would not actually help you right now, you will be told that too.
Fees, stated openly
Most single consultations begin at ₹3,100, and a full kundli reading at ₹5,100. Ongoing guidance is available for families who want a steady hand across a whole season rather than a one-off answer. Every fee is listed on the plans and pricing page — nothing is quoted only after you have already committed.
Not sure which sitting fits? Say so on WhatsApp. Most first messages are exactly that, and the honest answer is sometimes a free tool rather than a paid reading.
Before you book anyone — including us
Three questions are worth asking any astrologer in Delhi, or anywhere: What is your method? A practitioner should be able to name the system they work in. What does it cost, in full? A fee that only appears after the reading is a warning. What happens if the news is bad? The answer should be about explaining timing, never about paying for a fix.
We have written those out properly in how to choose an astrologer — including the answers we would give ourselves.
