What it is
A single certified five-mukhi Rudraksha — five natural faces, or mukhis, running from crown to base — threaded on red cotton-silk, ready to wear. The five-mukhi is the most common rudraksha and the most universal: tradition associates it with Jupiter, and with calm, learning and steadiness.
Unlike a Jyotish gemstone, a rudraksha does not need a chart reading first. It is the remedy tradition hands to almost anyone.
Who it suits
- Anyone who wants a traditional remedy without first commissioning a chart reading.
- Students, teachers and anyone whose work is study — Jupiter's territory.
- People who find a mala too much and want one bead they can wear.
- A first rudraksha, for someone curious about the tradition.
How it is used
Worn at the throat on its thread, or kept in a pocket or purse. Many people first wear it on a Thursday morning after a bath, reciting Om Hreem Namah a few times — the mantra printed on the card that comes with it.
Tradition asks that it be removed before swimming and before attending a funeral, and that it not be worn during the hours after a death in the family. Beyond that it is worn continuously.
What it does not do
- It is not a medicine. It does not treat, cure or prevent any physical or mental illness, and it must never replace your doctor's advice or prescribed treatment.
- It does not guarantee money, a job, a marriage or an examination result. Nobody can promise you that, and we will not.
- It does not strengthen a planet the way a Jyotish gemstone does, and it is not a substitute for one when a chart genuinely calls for a stone.
- It does not require anybody's permission — which also means nobody can charge you for permission.
Care & authenticity
A certified genuine Nepali bead, supplied with its certificate of authenticity, threaded on red cotton-silk and energised with mantra before dispatch.
A rudraksha is a seed. It may darken with wear and the surface may dry — a light touch of coconut oil restores it. Keep it away from chemical soaps and chlorinated water. If the thread frays, restring it rather than replacing the bead.
- Certified genuine Nepali bead
- Red cotton-silk thread, adjustable
- Energised with mantra before dispatch
- Certificate of authenticity included

Ask before you buy — it costs nothing
Tell Dr. Nidhi what you are hoping a piece will help with. If something in the Atelier suits you, she will say which and why. If a reading, a mantra or simply nothing at all would serve you better, she will say that instead.
